Day 10 - Freestyle Wrestling

What would the Olympics be without Freestyle Wrestling?

We went along to Excel, running the gauntlet of the whole of Ireland being there to see some lady boxing (they have someone good seemingly). Knowing nothing about the sport when we turned up we were worried about being completely lost. We needn't have worried though as by the end we were all experts at falls, the challenge cube and the freestyle clinch. It turns out Japan are quite good at it, but the high point was a body slam performed by a Mongolian. Great stuff.

That evening we went for a few beers with Jonnie Eveson, Andy and the Gales. A very pleasant evening out - we even managed to watch some athletics in the pub
