It's fair to say that these Olympics will be very different to previous ones. The people who live there don't want them, their government need them and most people are more interested in The Hundred (joke before you shout at me). I, however, am thrilled that they are going ahead (at time of writing).
I watched the highlights of the opening ceremony and had a very enjoyable time naming countries based on their flags (I don't get out much) even though they were a bit short of the usual razzmatazz (understandably so).
So settle down and I will keep you informed what is on when and I think I may also come up with a tip of the day to see if I really know what I am talking about. I probably don't.
